SANHS HISTORY

       Sta Ana National High School is situated at San Agustin, Sta Ana,Pampanga. It is 2km.away from the division office and has a totol lot area of 10,000 square meters (1 hectare)
     
        Sta, Ana National High School, With its former name as San Isidro High School Annex, was jointly conceptualized in the year 1998 by the love and concern of parish Pastoral Council of San Agustin headed by PPC President Mr. Celedonio Mallari and the barangay folks and officials. The establishment of the school was approved by the Division School Superintendent, Dr. Elita Flor Umali. It had 103 first year student, with 3 teachers and was under the supervision of Mrs. Josefina S. Castro, The San Isidro High School Principal at that time and with Mrs. Catalina G. Yalung as the officer-in-charge. Classes were held only on the side of the parish church with semi-concrete roofs and walls are temporary shelter. The following year, classes were held on the covered court of San Agustin Elementary School. In the year 1999, a building with four (4) classroom was constructed through the efforts of Congressman Oscar Rodriguez. By November of the same year classes were moved to its present site.

     In the year 2002, the school was in full of seperation from its mother school. It was given 12 teachers item. Then in the year 2003, Mrs Amelita V. Ordofies took over the school supervision as the newly promoted principal. Last September 7 2007 Mrs Dolores I. Pelayo was assigned in SANHS ( Sta Ana National High School) to be its next administrator.

   At present, it has 20 talented teachers headed by the hardworking principal. It has total population of 767 students coming from less fortunate families whk cannot afford to send their children to private school tk continue their studies. These student coming from different barangay of the town of Sta. Ana,Pampanga San Agustin,Sto Rosario,San Pablo,San Roque,San Joaquin, and Sta Maria. Even the nearby town of Mexico benefits from the school for there are also students coming from San Patricio, Mexico ,Pampanga


     The year 2004 marked a new beginningd for the school for a one storey building with three(3) classrooms was constructed under the Principal-Led School Building thru the courtesy of Congressman Oscar Rodriguez. Another one which is a two-storey building with four (4) classroom was constructed as part of the CDF for 3rd District of Pampanga   thru the courtesy of Congressman Oscar Rodriguez. The school was also recipient of ten (10) computer units under the DTI PSPC 2 projects. The construction of one classroom of the two-storey building was done last Dec.2008 with the help of Congressman Aurelio Gonzales.
 
     In only a few years, the school achieve much improvement in structed and facilities. Through thr cooperation of the school  administration ,faculty, parents, local goverment and community, the school soarshigh in offering quality education.
